Boghead
1 turbine | 77m to blade tip | 500kW
Developed solely by Lomond Energy, Boghead wind turbine was granted planning permission by South Lanarkshire Council in June 2014.
There were no local objections to the proposal, whilst an investigation of radar interference concerns initially raised by National Air Traffic Services prompted the development of a technical solution which fully addressed this issue.
The site is located within gently undulating agricultural fields used for rough grazing, which has continued throughout the construction and operation of the project.
