Lomond Energy is a company dedicated to bringing clean power projects to life. It specialises in assisting landowners and farmers looking to diversify and has developed a fresh approach to securing new sites through joint venture and partnership arrangements, an approach which differentiates us in the market.

This has already proved successful at Muirhall in South Lanarkshire, where we worked in partnership with the landowner to secure planning consent for a 12MW wind farm which is now operating.  Elsewhere we have successfully worked with two large estates in Argyll to develop a 10.8MW wind farm project which is now operating and has underpinned the long term economic viability of the local community. We succesfully gained planning permission for a 6MW extension to the project in 2013.

We are also pleased to take projects forward along the more traditional route of a land lease arrangement, whereby we take on all project development risk and offer an attractive rental package to landowners once projects are operating.
